Rooms are clean and big... The hotel is in a desolate area of a business district. There are signs hanging everywhere in the hotel about criminal activity and prostitution. The reception is setup like you're checking into a jail. Clearly, there is a lot of violence and trouble. The receptionist couldn't speak either Dutch or English very well. The entire check-in process made me feel very uncomfortable.

Very well priced, two minute walk from metro station. From the airport to the hotel was one train and one metro,really easy. While dining options close by are limited , a short one metro stop and you are in the arena district with countless options. Very helpful staff, nice rooms, not spotless but have seen much worse. Also very easy to access old town, that metro that stops out front will take you there in 25 minutes. We liked it because it took us away from the crowds.

Nice comfortable bed . That’s it . No coffee, no bar , no ice, no nothing. A little too far from centre imo. Only one room key , for the price of this hotel definitely not worth it. Metro was close by . I’m still wondering why there’s no bar !!!!!!!!

Good location for the Ziggo Dome and a moderate price

We chose this hotel because it was a Metro stop from the Ziggo Dome (also of AFAS and the Ajax Stadium), or a walk of around 15/20 minutes. Also it is nearby a train station that takes you to the airport. The area doesn't have a lot of interesting things (lacks restaurants and shops) and unless you need to be in this district, it is not close to the centre. It is also quite dark and lonely at night. However, it was the cheapest hotel that seemed modern/clean in this area, so we went for it. Our room was a twin, had a decent size, a desk, TV, a fridge, a kettle (but just tea available, for coffee you had to pay downstairs), a safe, enough plugs (and close to the beds) and hangers for the clothes. The toilet was quite clean and had a good shower. Also toiletries were included, towels and a hair dryer. Breakfast was 15 Euro per person, so not cheap, but at least it was a buffet, so you had lots of pastries and also bacon, eggs, sausages, cold meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea and a lot of different breads. You couldn't find any place for breakfast nearby anyway. Staff was nice and helpful at the reception desk, no problems. There were construction works outside that started pretty early, so I recommend bringing some earplugs. Also, there was a “weird” note at the lift that warned the customers against bringing prostitutes to the hotel and noting that every guest had to be identified before going upstairs. In summary, not so cheap, but cheaper than most in the area, quite clean and modern.

This place is an actual joke. If you staying one night, guess that would be ok... Any longer? definitely not! Previous comments said cheap... well there was nothing cheap about our stay and the value for money is certainly not there. The carpets were stained, the bedding was stained, the cleaning non-existent... The towel were thin and old and the fridge only works when you card is in the room so it never gets cold if you're only there at night. There is only tea in the room, for coffee, you have a coffee machine in the reception area, and it's €2 per cup for the priviledge! People at the reception are friendly enough but never able to sort anything without their manager that never seem to be onsite... The breakfast was completly cold on the 2 attempts to use the facility of the hotel (we put the first bad experience on the fact that it was sunday but then it was worse on Tuesday!) - Eggs were bland and the bacon was horrid. We approach the kitchen staff who then seemed to be fiddling with the hot plates but nothing changed and they just vanished after that. You can get much better breakfast and cheaper in the city so don't bother with this. On the plus side, the transport service into the city is regular, making it very accessible (though I think last train is around 12/12:30am)
